Comprehensive study of consumer attitudes toward television conducted in 1960, for CBS, by the Bureau of Applied Social Research at Columbia University and by Roper. (Follow-up published in 1973 Bower report.)

1964 - R.H. BRUSKIN FOR WNEW TV - SURVEY OF CHILDREN'S TELEVISION PREFERENCES, BRAND AWARENESS, PURCHASE INFLUENCE

In interviews with children 4-12 and their mothers, it was found that children have very definite TV preferences and have great influence on the purchase of food products.
